Graceland has been renewed for a 13-episode third season, EW has learned.
The drama, which follows a group of various law enforcement agents all living under one roof, averaged 2.6 million total viewers.
“This season of Graceland took viewers on a wild ride with unexpected character twists, and a heart-stopping cliffhanger that left a lead character’s fate in question,” USA Network President Chris McCumber said. “Jeff Eastin and the talented ensemble cast deliver on all levels, and season three will undoubtedly continue to keep us on the edge of our seats.”
In the season two finale, corrupt cop Sid (Carmine Giovinazzo) framed Mike (Aaron Tveit) for the bloodbath at the Solano compound, forcing him to go on the run. But because Mike was shot, he sought Paige’s (Serinda Swan) help, accidentally revealing that he had faked Lena’s death in the process. In turn, Paige told Sid which hospital Mike checked to under an assumed name. Sadly, no one arrived in time to save Mike as Sid cut off his air supply and left him for dead.
“He looks pretty dead,” Eastin told EW after the finale. “I won’t confirm or deny, but what you see is what you get. I would say that everything we’ve led up to so far has really been to set Mike in a position where he needs to pay for his sins. Really, the finale was about that payment coming due.”
Graceland returns for season three on USA.
