Grand Theft Auto V is a year old, but all of a sudden it feels brand new.
Last night, Rockstar Games unveiled the biggest addition to the November 18 re-release of Grand Theft Auto V for PC and new-gen consoles: a first-person camera mode. It doesn’t sound like much, but one look at footage from the new perspective is enough to make the game as enticing as any other new release coming out this month.
In a feature for IGN, GTA V animation director Rob Nelson said that the new perspective required the team to “change pretty much everything.”
When you consider this in addition to the bonus content available to those who already own the last-gen version of the game, it looks like Rockstar is making good on their promise to make the GTA V re-release a worthwhile one.
