'Survivor' host Jeff Probst names the players he's not sure can cut it this season

Posted on

Every season Survivor host Jess Probst tells us at the start of filming which players he thinks are the ones to keep an eye on. But then there’s the flip side, as we also force Probst to also come clean on which players he’s just not sure have what it takes to play this game. Now it’s time to see whom Probst is ready to throw under the bus for Survivor: San Juan del Sur — Blood vs. Water, which kicks off tonight at 8pm on CBS.

However…DISCLAIMER ALERT! Probst’s opinions at this point are based solely on his pre-game interactions with the contestants. Often the ones that he thinks will be great from those interactions do nothing once they get out in the elements. And often people that don’t do much for him in casting come through big time once the game starts. (He uses last season’s champ and Spy Shack builder Tony as an example.)

In any event, it’s always fun to measure Probst’s pre-game picks with what ends up transpiring on the show, so click on the video below to check out the players he believes need to prove him wrong. And for more Survivor scoop, follow me on Twitter @DaltonRoss.
