Aaron Paul’s career has shown no signs of slowing down—you could say he has a Need for Speed—with several film roles lined up through the rest of 2014 and into 2015. And on Tuesday, Miramax announced another project in the works for the “Breaking Bad” actor.
Paul has been cast in the upcoming The 9th Life of Louis Drax, joining Jamie Dornan. Paul will play the title character’s father, Peter, who is at the center of a criminal investigation following his son’s near-fatal accident on his ninth birthday.
Louis Drax himself has not been cast, but Dornan will play Dr. Allan Pascal, who tries to uncover the mysteries surrounding the accident in what becomes a supernatural thriller.
Drax is set to release in 2015 and will be helmed by Horns director Alexandre Aja. The film is based on Liz Jensen’s novel of the same name.
