The BBC announced Tuesday that Doctor Who stars Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman will promote the new season of the long-running British time-travel show with a five-continent publicity tour during which they will take part in both media and fan engagements. The publicity blitz will start in the U.K. on Aug. 7 and end in Brazil on Aug. 19. The pair will appear together for the first time in the U.S. when they arrive in New York on Aug. 14.

“After 8 months solid filming deep in the world of monsters, Jenna and I are thrilled to be heading for the Planet of Fans,” Capaldi said in a statement. The forthcoming season of Doctor Who is the first to properly feature Capaldi following his introduction in last year’s special Christmas episode. The 12-episode season will premiere on BBC America this August.

In addition to the aforementioned countries, Capaldi and Coleman will visit South Korea, Australia, and Mexico. They will be joined on part of the tour by Doctor Who executive producer Steven Moffat.
