”Suits” costume designer Jolie Anna Andreatta briefs us on the style choices that set precedents

Harvey Specter, Gabriel Macht
”We only put Tom Ford on Harvey. I take his look from a Cary Grant and Steve McQueen kind of vibe, so I put a beautiful light gray suit on him — white shirt, black tie — and I started using the pocket square. He said, ‘Okay, this is the look!’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, honey, but we have to do other versions of this.”’

”From last year, I’m going to say [my favorites are] the Burberry and vintage ties. I started him out in vintage because even if he rebelled from Harvey sending him off to the tailor, he would have gone and gotten vintage ties from a corner secondhand store. Mike’s thing is skinny and vintage ties.”

Jessica Pearson, Gina Torres
”There’s this really great white dress by Narciso Rodriguez, and I put a white Tom Ford coat over her shoulders. It was on the street as she got into her limo, and it was just so elegant but also so business. It really represented the two worlds, fashion and business. And she’s got this beautiful Gucci bag. I’m a little crazy about bags.”
