Memorial Day TV marathons: Keep up with the Kardashians and more

Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Forget barbecues — the real way to celebrate Memorial Day is to watch a lot of TV. And by a lot, we mean three straight days of it.

To help you sort out which channel you should stay on — Keeping Up with the Kardashians or CatfishLaw & Order or Being Mary Jane? Big decisions! — we’ve compiled some of the best marathons airing May 24, 25, and 26. Check out our picks below:

Law & Order: SVU, USA

10 a.m. – 11 p.m.

More like Law & Order Food & Spend All Day Watching Mariska Hargitay.

Catfish, MTV

11 a.m. – 4: 15 p.m.

Since “catfish” was just added to the dictionary, now’s the perfect time to see what catfishing is all about.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians, E!

11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Didn’t get invited to Kim and Kanye’s wedding this weekend? Then pretend you’re there by keeping up with the Kardashians — and don’t worry, if you can’t watch today, E! is airing hours-long marathons of the show every day this weekend. The dream!

Being Mary Jane, BET

12 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Gabrielle Union plays a smart, successful news anchor in this drama, meaning it’s nothing like Aaron Sorkin’s The Newsroom — and that’s a good thing.

Deadliest Catch, Discovery

3 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Since Deadliest Catch actually takes place on the dangerous seas, the drama is as real as you can get. Best if watched before eating (or while eating) crab legs to fully appreciate the fishermen’s work.

Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta, TLC

9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Say yes to watching this marathon. It’s like going shopping with your friends… except without having to put on pants or get up from your couch.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Bravo

1:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Continue your Atlanta-themed watching spree by seeing what the city’s Real Housewives are up to — spoiler, probably a ton of trash-talking.

Storage Wars Texas and Storage Wars, A&E

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. – midnight

Warning: Storage Wars is one of those shows that you roll your eyes at and say, “I couldn’t imagine watching more than five minutes of that!” until, hours later, you rip your eyes away from the TV screen and realize that you have been watching Storage Wars for hours.

Criminal Minds, A&E

9 a.m. – midnight

Mandy Patinkin left the cast of Criminal Minds years ago because he didn’t like the graphic violence depicted in the show. But disturbing images aside, dreamboat Matthew Gray Gubler still stars so that balances it all out, right?

I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding, Bravo

7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

NeNe Leakes is everywhere these days: She’s been on Dancing with the Stars, The New Normal, and Glee, just to name a few shows, and in this reality show, she plans her wedding to Gregg Leakes — a man she married, divorced, and then remarried. Maybe absence really does make the heart grow fonder.

NCIS: Los Angeles, USA

6 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Fact: No binge-watching session is complete without some NCIS.
