It’s time for another Enviormentalism 101 class from your favorite college professor, Shailene Woodley. If you’ve been following the Year of Shailene, you know that the Fault in our Stars woman is a nature-loving, leaf foraging woodland creature (but, ugh, not a feminist).
So it’s no surprise that when Woodley stopped by Letterman Monday night, Letterman had a few questions for her — particularly about clay eating. “Clay is one of my favorites because if you look at indigenous cultures around the world, people are eating clay almost daily,” she explained to a shocked Letterman. “It’s just a part of their diet. Pregnant woman eat clay too, because it’s really good for their bodies and their babies. Look it up! It’s really interesting!”
