The very first trailer for a show aimed at 12-year-olds that you’ll be watching weekly is here.
Girl Meets World, Disney Channel’s Boy Meets World spin-off that follows the trials and tribulations of Cory and Topanga’s preteen daughter, just released its first trailer. The clip is only 30 seconds long — far too short to make any sort of sweeping prediction about the quality of a program millennial kids have pinned all their hopes and dreams on — but it does allow fans their first extended look at what Cory and Topanga have been up to since BMW went off the air in 2000.
“How long do I have to live in my father’s world?” their daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard), asks after trying — and failing — to sneak out a window (something Cory and Shawn were all too familiar with on the original show). “Until you make it yours,” Cory (Ben Savage) responds. Then Topanga (Danielle Fishel) — still with killer hair — shows up, and all is right with the world. (E! first posted the clip.)

Unfortunately, Girl Meets World still doesn’t have a premiere date beyond some point this summer.
