Today is March 4 — which means that in exactly one month, fans will be able to sit down in theaters and finally watch Captain America: The Winter Soldier in all its explosive, exciting glory. And just when you thought Marvel was done giving you teases for the highly anticipated film, a new minute-long ad emerges.
A newly released TV spot showcases a host of fresh footage, including an extended look at Nick Fury in the car before the Winter Soldier attacks it, more interaction between Cap and Falcon, and a glimpse of Robert Redford and the “Big Brother” conspiracy storyline that star Scarlett Johansson has hinted at in various featurettes. (“The world is a vulnerable place,” she tells what looks like a group of government officials. “But we’re the best qualified to defend them.” Hmmm…sounds like someone is trying to keep S.H.I.E.L.D.’s finest out of what they do best.)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits theaters April 4.
