Well, that didn’t take long. According to People.com, Erin Andrews will replace Brooke Burke-Charvet as the host of Dancing With the Stars.
The Fox Sports reporter, 35, will take over as Tom Bergeron’s co-host for the 18th season of ABC’s dancing competition. Andrews was a contestant on the show in season 10 with pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy. They placed third.
The news comes two days after Burke-Charvet, 42, released a statement saying that she had been let go from the hit show. In it, she said, “I’ve seen my fair share of shocking eliminations in the ballroom but this one takes the cake.”
Dancing With the Stars will return on March 17.
