There was a whole lot of prime-time singing Wednesday night. Celine Dion had her Home for the Holidays special on CBS. Michael Buble had his 3rd annual Christmas special on NBC, which also aired The Sing-Off. Fox had The X Factor finale. Even The CW got into the mix, with its iHeart Radio Jingle Ball. Who came out on top?

The Sing-Off was easily in front, with 5.4 million viewers and a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating.

Buble’s special and X Factor tied, with both shows getting 5 million viewers and a 1.3 rating. That’s an all-time low for a non-special Wednesday night episode of Factor, down 52 percent in the demo from last year. The fate of the show is still uncertain, with  Simon Cowell confirming to reporters on the Factor red carpet last night that judge Demi Lovato is indeed exiting.

Dion hit a very low note for a network like CBS. The singer tied the CW’s special, with 4.9 million viewers and a mere 0.6 rating (read: her special drew plenty of older viewers, but not too many in the 18-49 demo).

But all the holiday specials were topped by Barbara Walters’ annual 10 Most Fascinating People special with 8.8 million and a 2.1. Chart to come…
