'Vampire Diaries': Kat Graham keeps wearing this same outfit

The Vampire Diaries season 5 premiere was a dramatic one for Kat Graham’s Bonnie. The dead witch witnessed Silas (Paul Wesley) murder her mayor father. “I remember that we shot that on location in Covington, GA, at the town square. The people who live in the town, and sometimes people who travel and are fans of the show, come to watch us. So all they see is the mayor standing and talking, and then they hear this bloodcurdling scream from me. So there were literally fans watching us shoot the scene, so I’m surprised there were no spoilers that got out because it was very public.”

Of course, don’t expect Graham to give spoilers on what’s next for Bonnie. In Thursday’s episode, Bonnie will be coming to terms with her dad’s death and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) will again try to convince her that it’s time for the others to know she died resurrecting him.  (Watch a clip below.) Won’t people expect Bonnie to return for a funeral? “There’s definitely gonna be some questions asked, for sure,” she says. Will Bonnie want to make Silas pay? “Well, whatever her options are on other side, she’s definitely gonna try to exercise them,” she says. “There are a few people who want Silas dead. I can’t say too much. But you know what, all these questions will get answered in the next few episodes.”

There is one question Graham can answer now: Expect to see her in the same wardrobe for a while. “Apparently on the other side, there is no Wal-Mart,” she says, laughing. “Bonnie doesn’t change her clothes. A lot of other characters had been able to change their clothes on the other side. But the witches, actually, haven’t. My Grams, played by Jasmine Guy, has been wearing the same coat that she passed on. ”

And speaking of the dead, Graham hasn’t made good on her promise to kill costar Nina Dobrev after Dobrev outed Graham’s celebrity crush in a recent EW video. “No retaliation as of yet, but the plot will only thicken,” Graham says. “It will happen.”
