Guess the tension between Nick, Joe, and Kevin is Burnin’ Up as the Jonas Brothers have canceled their tour.
Two days before their 19-city-date trek across the country was to kick off, an argument over the weekend between the trio about the musical direction of the band led to the decision to cancel their tour. It was set to run from Friday, Oct. 11 through Nov. 6.
“There is a deep rift within the band,” Jonas Brothers’ rep Jesse Derris, told People. “There was a big a disagreement over their music direction.”
Fans who bought tickets to the show will receive refunds. As for the future of the band, Derris says that “it remains to be seen.” Earlier this year, the brothers released two singles — Pom Poms and First Time — for their fifth album, V. No release date has been confirmed.
