Rupert Boneham came into Survivor: Blood vs. Water predicting a one-two finish for him and his wife Laura. He got first, alright. Unfortunately for him, it ended up being first one out. Rupert called into Entertainment Weekly Radio (SiriusXM, channel 105) to talk with Jessica Shaw and me all about his short stint on the island, and we now present that interview for you here on the InsideTV Podcast. Does he regret swapping places with wife Laura and sending himself to Redemption Island? How was his time there with non-Rupert fan Candice? Are other Survivors jealous of his popularity with fans? And how would he have coexisted with Colton? We get into all that and more, and you can hear it all by clicking on the audio player icon below.
But Rupert’s not the only Survivor we have on tap this week: RC Saint-Armour also stopped by the studio to talk with former Survivor champ Jenna Morasca and me about what it was like for her and her dad to be cut from the game and sent home from location just two days before filming began due to his high blood pressure. RC reveals all the juicy behind-the-scenes intel, including who her pre-game alliance mates were, and her desperate attempt to stay in the game even after her father was ruled out. It’s a must listen for any Survivor fan.
And we also we turn our attention from the living to the dead. Or undead, rather. The Walking Dead exec producer Greg Nicotero called in to give some teases on season 4 of the zombie drama. Greg — who directed the season premiere episode airing on Oct. 13 — tells us that the zombies will be scarier then ever before this year. He clues us in as to what else to expect in season 4 while also telling us all about the new Walking Dead haunted maze happening at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights.
