Lifetime has ordered a second season of Devious Maids, the latest drama from Marc Cherry about a close-knit group of maids in Beverly Hills. The network ordered another 13 episodes of the drama that stars Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramírez, Roselyn Sánchez, Edy Ganem and Judy Reyes.
The series that first bowed June 23 has averaged nearly 23 million viewers this summer — Lifetime’s fasting-growing drama ever. It also stars Susan Lucci, Rebecca Wisocky, Tom Irwin, Mariana Klaveno and Grant Show.
Devious Maids is inspired by the hit telenovela, Ellas son la Alegría del Hogar.
