NBC's Freaky Friday Night

The network hopes to scare up ratings by pairing cult hit ”Grimm” with its new take on ”Dracula” starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers

Bram Stoker’s classic gets a reboot set in Victorian England, with the bloodsucker played by the devilishly handsome Rhys Meyers. And this Count is dead set on revenge. ”Dracula has assumed the alter ego of an American inventor by the name of Alexander Grayson,” explains exec producer Tony Krantz. ”He has come to England to avenge the fact that he was turned into a monster 500 years ago.”

The cast and producers of the supernatural thriller, now entering its third season, will be in San Diego to answer fans’ burning questions, like What’s gonna happen to David Giuntoli’s Nick now that he’s been turned into a zombie? Teases executive producer Jim Kouf, ”Like with any near-death experience or medical issue that someone deals with, it kind of changes their lives. You have a new perspective on things, so Nick is going to have to deal with the residual effects.”
