Kindie bands swap songs for SiriusXM Kids Place Live radio program

Siriusxm Kindie Music Mashup

SiriusXM has some family-friendly music to kick off your Memorial Day weekend. The satellite radio service’s channel 78, Kids Place Live, is airing a program tonight called Kindie Music Mashups! (“Kindie” being its own mashup of “kiddie” and “indie”) that features a jam session with 12 kindie bands.

In the program, which airs at 9 p.m. ET, each of the 12 bands are broken into six teams of two, performing the others’ biggest hit in their own style.

Among the participating bands are Grammy award-winners The Okee Dokee Brothers, who play The Pop Ups’ “Box of Crayons,” and Grammy-nominated Brady Rymer. Check out the full lineup below:

Kindie Music Mashups! will re-air on Saturday, May 25 at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET and on Sunday, May 26 at 12 p.m. ET.
