Tonight’s episode of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice was like a game of chess. Which is to say that a good portion of the action revolved around the fact that one of the teams brought a chess board to a party. Because nothing spells p-a-r-t-y like sitting there watching someone take someone else’s rook. When it was all over, one person would pay for that fatal flaw and be fired from the game. My full recap will be up at 2 a.m. (UPDATE: Click the link for Dalton’s full Celebrity Apprentice recap), but to find out or sound off on who was fired, read on for more. And also make sure to check out our exclusive joint interview with receptionist Amanda Miller and elevator operator Adrian Acosta! [SPOILER ALERT: Read on only if you have already watched Sunday’s episode of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.]
The two teams were tasked this week with each transforming a suite at Brooklyn’s new Barclays Center into a promotional party for Foxwoods casino. Team Power’s party (run by Project Manager Marilu Henner) featured a King theme and included an actual throne and some dude who was playing chess, while Plan B’s Joker soiree (run by P.M. Lisa Rinna) featured entertainment by Penn & Teller, a chef who may or may not have been Newman from Seinfeld, and Lisa Lampanelli ruminating on the color of Susan Boyle’s pubic hair.
In the end — after Lisa threatened to have sex with John Rich and Donald Trump asked, “Lil Jon, what is crunk?” — Plan B were deemed the winners and Marilu was fired. Or perhaps Trump just fired her so he could get her started on that bizarre card-counting scheme he wants to get rolling in Vegas as soon as possible. My full recap will be up soon but you can sound off on the episode right here and right now. Was the right person fired? Could Trace get any grumpier? And can anyone beat Penn Jillette?
