The best way to brush away rumors that your bosses want to replace you with Jennifer Lopez? Simple: Put on your best princess gown, find a few dudes willing to dress up like cartoon footmen, and ride through Disneyland in a monkey-fighting fairytale carriage.
That’s just what Mariah Carey did last night. She and
favorite accessory husband Nick Cannon spent the evening celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary at an elaborate, Cinderella-themed, Disney-approved vow renewal ceremony that featured trumpeters, a second wedding dress, and even a full-on Prince Charming outfit for Cannon — complete with epaulettes! This is true love, people. The occasion also happened to coincide with the second birthday of Cannon and Carey’s adorable twins, Moroccan and Monroe — a.k.a. “#DemBabies,” as Carey fondly calls the kids on Twitter.

Synergy alert: This anniversary celebration/publicity stunt comes less than a week before Carey’s due to release “Beautiful,” her upcoming single with Miguel. Who needs Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe when they’ve got a fairy godmother and fresh beats?
