Your tween will be thrilled: Jessie is coming back for a third season, the Disney Channel announced today.

The sitcom stars Suite Life on Deck alum Debby Ryan as Jessie, a New York City teenage nanny for the Ross family. The upcoming season 2 finale will feature Molly Shannon guest-starring as Jessie’s stepmom-to-be that Jessie meets when she returns home – with the Ross kids in tow – to Texas, according to a press release. The season finale will also feature James Patrick Stuart (Supernatural) as Jessie’s dad as well as Kate Flannery (The Office) as Corporal Cookie.

The show originally premiered in September 2011 and the third season will begin production in July and premiere fall 2013.
