James Franco co-directs Kenneth anger in strange, NSFW music video

So how weird is the music video James Franco and Tim O’Keefe directed for the Ted James remix of the Daddy song “Love in the Old Days”?

Well, for starters, it features topless, candle-wielding people in animal masks partaking in what looks to be some sort of pagan ritual. Also, experimental filmmaker Kenneth Anger shows up in it, so there’s that.

“This is the first time I’ve worked with Kenneth,” Franco told Interview magazine’s website, where the video premiered. “But I’ve been very influenced by his work before this.”
