If you’ve been dying for the next mystery novel featuring a voodoo witch and a monkey, you’re in luck. Star Island author Carl Hiaasen has just revealed the cover for his next novel, Bad Monkey, which will be released on June 11.

Bad Monkey tells the story of Andrew Yancy, a Health Inspector for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, who works to uncover the case of a severed human arm in hopes that if he can, he will finally rise among the ranks at the station. Along the path to discovery, Yancy gets help from some curious characters, including a real estate developer, a voodoo witch and a monkey.

Hiaasen’s previous works include mystery novels, destination reads and even children’s books. He also wrote Strip Tease, which became a major motion picture starring Demi Moore.
