Since Justin Timberlake is on his suit and tie s—, it’s only appropriate that he be invited to a proper formal event.
Timberlake is the latest boldface name added to the performance docket at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, which take place on Sunday, February 10.
Speculation can now begin regarding what Timberlake will bring to the show. Will he bust out the number four song in the country “Suit & Tie,” and if so, will Jay-Z join him on stage? Will he debut another new song from his comeback album The 20/20 Experience, which will be out on March 19? Will he resurrect a series of old favorites like “Cry Me a River” and “SexyBack”? Will he just do a bunch of Steely Dan covers? (The last suggestion seems unlikely, but then again, JT hates being predictable.)
Timberlake joins an increasingly more interesting performance slate that includes Rihanna, Taylor Swift, fun., Mumford & Sons, the Lumineers, Miranda Lambert & Dierks Bentley, Jack White, the Black Keys, Carrie Underwood, and Elton John & Ed Sheeran. Also, Frank Ocean will most likely one-handedly perform, though that remains unconfirmed.
What do you hope Timberlake performs at the Grammys? Who should he team up with for a killer collaboration? And which Grammy performer are you most looking forward to? Leave some gold in the comments.
