Those unbelievably energetic wildlife explorer brothers Chris and Martin Kratt (Zooboomafoo, Kratts Creatures) are about to take you down… into the ocean that is. In a one-hour Wild Kratts: Lost at Sea special, airing on PBS on Monday, January 21 (check your local listings), the guys’ animated personas will head to the corral reef in “Blowfish Blowout” and then try to talk to the dolphins in  “Speaking Dolphinese.” After brief live-action intros by the brothers in both episodes, it launches into the Wild Kratts setup where animated versions of the guys and the rest of their team (Aviva, Koki, and Jimmy), go on an adventure. The special, with its mix of humor, action, and animal info, continues the series’ winning tradition of being educational without ever feeling like a lesson.

Take a look a the trailer below:

The special will also be available on DVD on Jan. 22. The Kratts also have a new app, Wild Kratts Creature Power, and a new online science game, Dolphin Dive, the first PBS KIDS online game to include real animal sounds.
