Lena Dunham talks Internet and real-life haters on 'The Daily Show' -- VIDEO

Posted on

Lena Dunham totally Googles herself.

Dunham stopped by The Daily Show last night to talk about the new season of Girls, and the topic turned to her internet haters.

“That’s my sort of token line is ‘I don’t read anything,'” Dunham confessed. “But if I’m being honest I read a quarter of things. So I read what I can find. I read like the top three items in Google news.”

Jon Stewart also asked about people being jealous of her early fame. “You definitely do get the sense that there are some 58-year-olds who wish you dead,” Dunham quipped.

And coming off of her Golden Globe win, Dunham acknowledged that she wasn’t quite posing-savvy. She even heard cameramen say “get media trained” and “ugh, newbies.”
