'Lincoln,' 'Girls' costume designers among nominees for 15th annual Costume Designers Guild Awards

The Costume Designers Guild has announced the nominees for the 15th annual CDG Awards, which celebrates the year’s best in film, television and commercial costume design.

Included on the list are all five of the costume designers nominated for Academy Awards — Jacqueline Durran (Anna Karenina); Paco Delgado (Les Misérables); Johanna Johnston (Lincoln); Eiko Ishioka (Mirror Mirror) and Colleen Atwood (Snow White and the Huntsman) — as well Game of Thrones costume designer Michele Clapton, winner of the 2012 Emmy for Outstanding Costumes for a Series.

During the ceremony, set for February 19 in L.A., the LACOSTE Spotlight Award will be presented to Anne Hathaway, while Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels will receive the Distinguished Collaborator Award, and Honorary Career Achievement Awards will be presented to costume designers Judianna Makovsky (Reversal of Fortune, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, The Hunger Games) and Eduardo Castro (Miami Vice, Ugly Betty, Once Upon a Time).
