Coldplay are known for turning it out at their live shows — Chris Martin’s signature dance style even has its own Urban Dictionary entry — and now fans can experience it all in widescreen, thanks to the upcoming concert doc Live 2012.
The movie, filmed over a handful of cities around the world during the band’s tour for 2011 album Mylo Xyloto, finds the group hitting the highlights of their vast catalog, including on smashes both old (“Clocks,” “Yellow,” “Fix You”) and new (most notably “Princess of China,” which features a guest appearance by Rihanna).
Coldplay’s Live 2012 premieres on cable network Epix on November 17, with the CD/DVD/Blu-Ray release following a few days later.
But you can get a first look at the film below with the exclusive unveiling of Coldplay knocking out a particularly rocked-up version of “God Put a Smile Upon Your Face,” from 2002’s A Rush of Blood to the Head:
