Weeds series finale ratings are high

The Botwins go off on a high…a ratings high, that is.

Showtime said goodbye to Weeds last night after eight seasons, and the show delivered its highest-rated episode of the season, with 864,000 viewers at 10 p.m. and 1.28 million viewers for the night.

The series finale of the Mary-Louise Parker-starring program was up 7 percent from the season eight premiere, and up 55 percent versus the season seven finale.

So far this season, Weeds has been averaging 3.2 million viewers across all platforms.
