Erin Andrews jumps to Fox Sports

Posted on

Ex-ESPN sports reporter Erin Andrews has a brand new gig … at Fox Sports.

SI.com is reporting that Andrews — also known to Dancing with the Stars fans as a season 10 runner-up — will host a new 30-minute prime-time college football show that bows Sept. 1. She’ll also take on other duties at the sports cabler during the NFL and MLB seasons.

Andrews told this to SI.com: “This was a difficult move but it was the right move because it’s allowing me  to do so many things that I probably would not have been able to do had I stayed  at ESPN. It’s a different way to expand  my role. I’m not tired yet. I don’t want to hang it up. I just need to get  better and these were different opportunities that I would not be able to find  anywhere but at Fox Sports.”

Andrews contract expired with ESPN at the end of June. She danced with Maksim Chmerkovskiy during the 10th season of DWTS and came in third.
