Jeanne Tripplehorn replaces Paget Brewster on Criminal Minds

Posted on

Jeanne Tripplehorn will join Criminal Minds on CBS this fall as a series regular.

Tripplehorn replaces Paget Brewster, who left the procedural drama this year after seven seasons. “We’re thrilled to have Jeanne Tripplehorn join our team as a profiler,” said Executive Producer Erica Messer in a statement. “Her character will be introduced in the premiere. It’s an exciting way to start season 8.”

For five seasons, Tripplehorn starred in HBO’s Big Love. She also played Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy in the HBO film “Grey Gardens,” for which she was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2009. More recently, she had a multi-episode role on Fox’s New Girl.
