Men who accused John Travolta of sexual misconduct have both dropped their suits, rock band Van Halen postponed 31 tour dates, and more

Posted on

The two men who accused John Travolta, 58, of sexual misconduct have both dropped their suits against the star. However, they have retained high-profile attorney Gloria Allred. Travolta’s lawyer has called the allegations ”fiction”…. Poison lead singer Bret Michaels, 49, has settled a lawsuit with the producers of the Tony Awards and CBS. (The rocker was hit in the head by a set piece during the awards show in 2009, which he claims contributed to his later health woes.) Details of the settlement were not released.

Just one day after Facebook went public — earning him up to $20 billion — Mark Zuckerberg, 28, married his longtime girlfriend, Priscilla Chan, 27, at their home in Palo Alto, Calif.

On May 17, rock band Van Halen postponed 31 upcoming tour dates. Lead singer David Lee Roth, 57, said they are exhausted and simply need ”a break.”

Terminator 3‘s Nick Stahl, 32, who was reported missing May 14, has reportedly been found. His wife, Rose, told People.com that the actor — whose credits include The Man Without a Face (1993) and Sin City (2005) — has entered rehab. Stahl’s reps did not return calls.

Kissed Off

Will Smith, 43, smacked a male reporter who kissed him at the Russian premiere of Men in Black 3 on May 18. (The journalist, Ukrainian TV personality Vitalii Sediuk, is the same man who infamously gave Madonna hydrangeas last year.)

Pete Jones, 45, a drummer for the Australian band Crowded House, died May 18 after a struggle with brain cancer…. Chuck Brown, often called the ”Godfather of Go-Go,” passed away May 16 in Baltimore due to organ failure. He was 75.
