New Girl‘s loveable grump Jake Johnson will star opposite Zoe Kazan in The Pretty One. In the Black List-approved script, Kazan plays a woman who falls in love with her dead twin’s next door neighbor (Johnson) while masquerading as her sister. [Deadline]

• Just two weeks after it seemed certain Colin Farrell would be our night in shining armor in David Dobkin‘s Arthur & Lancelot, the star has dropped from the project due to scheduling conflicts. No replacement has been announced, though Gary Oldman‘s name has been bandied as a possible Merlin. [Deadline]

American Horror Story‘s Evan Peters and Juno Temple have signed on for Truck Stop, an indie coming-of-age ’70s drama in which Temple plays a runaway who befriends Peters’ teen afflicted with cerebral palsy. [CinemaBlend]
