'Hunter Games': Josh Hutcherson, Stanley Tucci in new clip

Posted on

Because the marketing team at Lionsgate is on a human-rights crusade to ensure that no one need ever suffer from Hunger Games withdrawal, MTV has a new clip from next week’s hotly anticipated dystopian thriller about kids killing kids for the enjoyment of the masses. Since the original novel doubled as a media satire, it’s kind of fun to see Josh Hutcherson’s Peeta have an awkwardly genial conversation with Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci), a remarkable shot-for-shot imitation of the awkwardly genial conversation Hutcherson will probably be having next week with the hosts of the Today Show. Which makes you wonder: Would Matt Lauer look better with blue hair? Watch the clip below.
