Nick Lachey, 38, and his wife, Vanessa Lachey (née Minnillo), 31, are expecting their first child…. Elizabeth Berkley, 39 — the star of Saved by the Bell and Showgirls — is expecting her first child this summer with her husband, Greg Lauren.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, both 39, welcomed their third child, a son named Samuel Garner Affleck, on Feb. 27. The pair — who have been married since 2005 — also have two daughters, Violet Anne, 6, and Seraphina Rose, 3.

”Black and Yellow” rapper Wiz Khalifa, 24, popped the question to model Amber Rose, 28, on March 1.

Hawaii Five-0 actor Alex O’Loughlin, 35, is taking a break from shooting to undergo treatment for prescription pain medication use, his rep revealed March 2.

Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian are facing a class-action lawsuit for allegedly misleading the public about the weight-loss supplement QuickTrim, which they endorse. According to the suit, QuickTrim contains caffeine, which ”is not a safe or effective treatment for weight control.” The plaintiffs are seeking $5 million from the Kardashians, QuickTrim, and companies that sold the product.

Conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart, who helped launch the Huffington Post as well as his own empire of websites, passed away in L.A. on March 1. The cause of death is under investigation. He was 43…. Rock guitarist Ronnie Montrose, 64, died March 3 in Brisbane, Calif., of prostate cancer. He played on such classic-rock staples as ”Free Ride” and ”Frankenstein.”… Lynn ”Buck” Compton, one of the World War II soldiers who formed the company on which the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers was based, died in Burlington, Wash., on Feb. 25 at age 90.
