'Survivor: One World' quick take: They did not just seriously do that!

A lot of crazy stuff has happened on Survivor over the course of 24 seasons, and tonight featured one of the craziest of the crazy. My full recap will be up at midnight, but if you can’t wait to sound off on what happened, read on for more. [SPOILER ALERT: Read on only if you have already watched Wednesday’s episode of Survivor: One World.]

After winning the immunity challenge, Colton’s personal vendetta against Bill — coupled with tribe anger at Leif for spilling the beans that Bill was next to go — led the men’s tribe to voluntarily go to Tribal Council instead of the women (who presumably were still at the immunity challenge trying to figure out those pesky puzzles). So Bill and Leif, even knowing they were in serious danger of being voted out, agreed to go to Tribal Council and risk going home. In the end, Bill was eliminated and the men were left one tribe member short for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

For some odd reason the entire Manono tribe considers Colton invincible just because he has an immunity idol — something that should, at best, save him for one week, not make him the despicable despot the rest of the men have allowed him to become. In other news, Kat did not fart on anyone this week.

My full recap will be up at midnight. In the meantime, enjoy the video below of the cast revealing their biggest secrets and hit the message boards to let us know what you think of the men’s controversial choice. And for more Survivor news and views, follow me on Twitter @DaltonRoss.
