Ouija movie back on Universal's development roster

After abandoning the high-budget Ouija board-based film that action director McG was circling, the studio has streamlined the budget and is greenlighting the project once again, reports Deadline.The budget has been cut down 95 percent to $5 million from its original $100 million price tag. Michael Bay is among the big-name producers still attached to the film, including Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir, Bay’s Platinum Dunes partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, and Blumhouse Productions (which produced low-budget, big-box-office thrillers Paranormal Activity and Insidious). McG is no longer attached to the project.
