Chuck vs. oblivion.
At long last, the NBC fan favorite is no more. Friday night’s two-hour finale was seen by 4.2 million viewers and had a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating (with the second hour slightly higher than the first). Not that the ratings really matter at this stage, but there it is. Here’s our exclusive essay by co-creator Josh Schwartz saying goodbye to the show. And here’s our reaction to the finale.
Fox’s Fringe (3.4 million, 1.2) rose a bit, though was still off slightly from its lead-in, Kitchen Nightmares (3.4 million, 1.4). CBS and The CW ran repeats.
ABC easily won the night, topping each hour. The second week of Shark Tank (5.4 million, 1.6) held nearly all of last week’s premiere rating, and was followed by news magazine shows.
