EW.com readers voted on our list of the buzziest TV projects in the development pipeline and the results are in. Asked which of 14 shows you’d most like to see make it on the air, nearly 10,000 readers sounded off. And the winner was…
Showtime adaptation of Uncle Stevie’s Under the Dome came in at No. 1 with 18 percent.
Right behind was Starz’ Da Vinci’s Demons, which re-imagines Leonardo Da Vinci as an butt-kicking hero, at 15 percent.
Runner-ups: Jim Henson Studios’ puppet sitcom The New Neighbors in development at NBC had 14 percent and Fox’s Flintstones re-imagined by Seth MacFarlane had 13 percent.
Only three of the projects on the list have a series greenlight at this point, but two of them were in the Top 4 (Flintstones and Da Vinci’s Demons), which goes to show network executives do know something. The other greenlit series is FX’s upcoming Charlie Sheen dramedy Anger Management, which garnered only 3 percent of the vote.
I’m leaving the poll open, so these figures could shift.
