'Prometheus' poster: Ridley Scott's maybe-'Alien' prequel has a pretty big head

Practically all the talk about Ridley Scott’s Prometheus has been whether the film (or how much of the film) is connected to Scott’s very first sci-fi movie, Alien. Less discussed, but not less intriguing to my mind, is very much confirmed fact that the movie will explore the origins of humanity itself. That’s pretty heady stuff — and, as it happens, the new poster for the film is dominated by a rather massive humanoid head. But if that’s an actual human in a space suit peering up at the head, and if the film takes place in the depths of space, where did this very familiar looking cranium come from?
