The same week that country singer Jennifer Nettles, 37, wed boyfriend Justin Miller, her duo, Sugarland, were sued for negligence by 42 victims of the Aug. 13 Indiana State Fair stage collapse. The plaintiffs claim that the band’s contract gave Sugarland the final say on whether to cancel their show due to inclement weather, and because they did not, they are responsible for the injuries and deaths caused by the stage collapsing during their concert.
Singer George Michael, 48, postponed the remaining dates of his European Symphonica tour due to an ongoing battle with pneumonia. Michael’s website states, ”His condition has stabilized.”
