'Glee,' 'Parenthood' dip in ratings

After rising in the ratings for its much-discussed deflowering episode last week, Fox’s Glee slipped to a season low Tuesday night.

Glee (7.1 million viewers, 2.9 adults 18-49 rating) fell a slight 6 percent, but Fox’s New Girl (6.9 million, 3.5) remained steady. Raising Hope (4.8 million, 2.2) was up a notch, though that might change since there was overrun from New Girl into its slot.

CBS was out in front with NCIS (19.9 million viewers, 4.0) and NCIS: LA (15 million, 3.3), both down just a tenth. A steady freshman underdog Unforgettable (11.2 million, 2.4) won 10 p.m.

ABC’s new comedies Last Man Standing (9 million, 2.6) and Man Up (6.2 million, 1.7) were unchanged. Dancing With the Stars (15 million, 2.7) fell 4 percent. Body of Proof (9.8 million, 2.1), while modest, had some good news — up 11 percent from its last original episode.

NBC’s The Biggest Loser (6.2 million, 2.1) was down 13 percent. Parenthood (5.0 million, 1.9) was down a tenth to a season low.

The CW’s 90210 (1.6 million, 0.7) and Ringer (1.9 million, 0.7) were both very low in the demo, though 90210 managed to have its most-watched episode of the season last night.
