Tonight’s Unforgettable features a guest star that’s very close to the show’s heart — because she, like main character Carrie (Poppy Montgomery), also has Superior Autobiographical Memory.
Marilu Henner, who also serves as a consulting producer on the show, will play Carrie’s aunt, who is experiencing early-onset Alzheimer’s. And even though co-star Dylan Walsh has become more than familiar with Henner’s abilities as a result of being on the show, seeing it in action was still a fascinating treat. “I met [Henner] almost 20 years ago at a party and she remembered meeting me, remembered everything about the party,” he told EW recently. “There’s no reason why she would remember me. Twenty years ago, I was nothing to remember…but she remembers everything about it in a creepy way.”
But guest stars aside, Walsh also dished to EW about what’s coming up between embattled exes and partners Al (Walsh) and Carrie. “It’s starting to come to the surface,” he says of the pair’s undeniable feelings for each other. “We’re shooting a scene today where she might be interested in a cop that’s helping us out on a case and I don’t like that — at all.”
