If there’s anything people will likely remember about Nancy Grace being on the 13th season of Dancing With the Stars, it was her devotion to her twins. (Oh, and that time her boobs just about popped out on national television.)
As it turns out, that’s exactly what Grace wants to be remembered for. (Her actual twins, that is.) In a goodbye letter posted on People.com, the recently eliminated DWTS contestant told fans, “I set out to show the twins that, if you believe and you work hard enough, dreams do come true. And, that when the chips are down, never stop trying to keep your chin up.”
Grace, who also wrote that “for 8 weeks, I was able to dance for my twins,” thanked her Dance partner Tristan MacManus (“It has been all Tristan from the get-go…I don’t know if you will ever read this, but you, not me, are the “star;” I’m sure the world saw that every night we danced on air”) and came to terms with getting the boot from the show. (“Of course, I’m sad it’s over, but I’m mostly happy it ever happened to me! This has truly been an extraordinary journey that I will cherish forever. I am so proud of what we accomplished and how far we came.”)
The HLN anchor signed off with, “Love, Nancy Grace & the Twins xo.” Snicker all you like, but that’s a pretty impressive feat for four-year-olds to help write such an eloquent goodbye letter, if you ask me.
