Donald Trump, Jimmy Fallon on Regis Philbin's last week 'Live!'

Posted on

Live! with Regis and Kelly has announced the line-up for Regis Philbin’s final week. Funnymen Jimmy Fallon and Don Rickles will kick off the week of “musical tributes and more” that culminates on Friday, Nov. 18. Throughout the week, theme packages will cover the past 28 seasons of Live!, including Philbin’s top moments and favorite memories. So who else will be joining Regis on his final week?

After Fallon and Rickles’ Monday interview, Philbin and co-host Kelly Ripa will welcome Donald Trump on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Fellow talk show host David Letterman will sit down on Wednesday, Nov. 16, and Philbin welcomes back former co-host of 15 years Kathie Lee Gifford Thursday, Nov. 17. Musical performers Tony Bennett, Josh Groban, and Bret Michaels are also expected to make appearances throughout the week. Friday’s Live! will serve as an hour-long tribute to Philbin as he reflects on his legacy and discusses upcoming projects.

ABC has no plans to announce a permanent replacement, but Jerry Seinfeld has agreed to step in as Ripa’s Live! with Kelly co-host from Nov. 21-23. They will welcome guests including Kim Cattrall, Howie Mandel, Jamie Oliver, and The Muppets stars Jason Segel and Miss Piggy.
