'Grimm,' 'Once Upon a Time,' 'Terra Nova': Which show goes next?

Posted on

Look at that face. Could you cancel that face? Well, if you’re Fox… maybe. Allen Gregory is still standing for the moment, thanks to a plum time-slot between The Simpsons and Family Guy, but can the freshman show hang on after so-so ratings? As one of several shows to premiere this past week, Gregory‘s fate hasn’t been decided yet. Add its name to the purgatorial list that includes high-profile newcomers Pan Am, Terra Nova, Once Upon a Time, and Last Man Standing. Keep reading to see which shows are in danger as we slide into November, and cast your vote for which should be canceled next.

It’s been all quiet on the Western front since our last fall TV Death Watch — and that’s not necessarily a good thing. A soon-to-be-released report from TiVo studied promo conversion rates to measure which new shows successfully used commercials to lure viewers. Three shows, in particular, stood out for failing in that regard: RevengeHart of Dixie, and Prime Suspect. While Revenge and Dixie have already been granted full seasons, Maria Bello might have some sweat on her brow as her reboot of the U.K. original waits in limbo. It’s not an enviable position to be one of the 10 shows on the short list still awaiting the thumbs up (or down).
