Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011, PG-13)
Johnny Depp, Penélope Cruz Captain Jack is back and hunting for the Fountain of Youth in this water-logged fourth chapter. Enough already. (Also on iTunes) C

Green Lantern (2011, PG-13)
Ryan Reynolds, Peter Sarsgaard DC’s intergalactic, emerald-hued crusader won’t win new fans with this 3-D misfire. If the film was shooting for camp silliness, mission accomplished. C+

Bad Teacher (2011, R)
Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, Jason Segel Diaz stars as the titular educator, and she’s a nasty piece of work all right. Too bad this comedy thinks it’s edgier than it actually is. (Also on iTunes) C

Page One: Inside The New York Times (2011, R)
A fascinating documentary that takes a look at the Gray Lady and the dogged reporters trying to stay one step ahead of that great recycling bin in the sky. B+

Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (1971, G)
Gene Wilder, Peter Ostrum The timeless kids’ classic gets a deluxe 40th-anniversary Blu-ray box set loaded with making-of extras and collectible gewgaws. The only thing missing is an Augustus Gloop action figure. B

Chris Evans As square as superhero movies come, but it’s rousing fun thanks to Evans’ weakling who gets a macho-man makeover. B 10/25

The Conversation (1974, PG)
Gene Hackman Francis Ford Coppola’s tense conspiracy thriller makes its Blu-ray debut. A flat-out masterpiece. A 10/25
