Reviews of the latest songs from Enrique Iglesias Feat. Pitbull, Daughtry, and MGMT

Enrique Iglesias Feat. Pitbull, ”I Like How It Feels”
Inspirational message. Rap-superstar cameo. Stadium-boosting synths inspired by 2 Unlimited’s ”Get Ready for This.” As a song, it’s a bit Jock Jams-by-the-numbers, but as potential ESPN bumper music, it’s awesome. B+Melissa Maerz

Daughtry, ”Renegade”
With its wind-in-your-eyes hook and leather-glove-to-the-sky chorus, the latest single from American Idol‘s headbangingest alumnus is the ideal soundtrack for hitting the highway on your hog. Don’t own a Harley? It’ll still get you through your cardio at LA Fitness. BKyle Anderson

MGMT, ”All We Ever Wanted Was Everything”
The poncho-rock duo’s most recent release, 2010’s Congratulations, was teeming with swampy psychedelic glop. But this cover of goth icons Bauhaus’ 1982 batcave classic (MGMT’s entry in the LateNightTales compilation series) distills the original’s clean, mopey melody with minimal electro frosting. A-KA
