Jay-Z & Kanye West, The Throne Tour
Now that the titanic rap twosome’s joint album, Watch the Throne, has reigned supreme on the charts, the kings are taking their act to a stadium near you. Expect to see ‘Ye and Jay playing lyrical tag, according to the latter: ”Considerable time will be spent on stage together,” he promised recently. (Oct. 28-Dec. 18)

blink-182 and My Chemical Romance
When the boys of blink (whose Neighborhoods drops Sept. 27) headlined the very first Honda Civic Tour 10 years ago, My Chemical Romance hadn’t even formed yet. Now they’ll make noise together, bridging the generation gap as they go. (Through Oct. 14)

Death Cab for Cutie
With the stellar recent release Codes and Keys under their belt, the erudite Northwest rockers will spend a month on tour before going out with a (well-mannered) bang with a huge hometown show at Seattle’s Key Arena (Through Oct. 22)

Jay Sean and Joe Jonas
The Cash Money crooner and the newly stand-alone Jonas bro will join forces for a month, sweeping ladies off their feet one intimate locale at a time. (Sept. 6-Oct. 6)

Chris Brown and Kelly Rowland
After a turbulent two years, Brown has returned to chart success. He and Destiny’s Child member-turned-solo diva Rowland will bring their dance-heavy pop and R&B to nearly 30 cities. (Sept. 14-Oct. 30)

The Smashing Pumpkins
Kicking off in Los Angeles, the veteran alt-rockers’ live shows will feature classic songs and tracks from their upcoming album, Oceania. Openers include Light FM, the band helmed by Pumpkins bassist Nicole Fiorentino. (Oct. 5-22)

Festivals
Bumbershoot
Seattle marks the end of summer (as far as, you know, the city actually has one) with the help of Hall & Oates, Wiz Khalifa, Big Boi, Ray LaMontagne, Mavis Staples, and dozens more. (Sept. 3-5)

Virgin Mobile FreeFest
Cee Lo Green, the Black Keys, Patti Smith, and TV on the Radio are among those expected at Columbia, Md.’s one-day fest. (Sept. 10)

iHeartRadio
Is there a major pop star who won’t be in Las Vegas this weekend? Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, the Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Kenny Chesney, Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Nicki Minaj, John Mayer, Rascal Flatts, and Bruno Mars will all convene in Sin City for the Ryan Seacrest-hosted event. (Sept. 23-24)

Popped!
Philadelphia welcomes the Shins, Cage the Elephant, Girl Talk, Foster the People, Panda Bear, and, we hope, a thousand cheesesteaks. (Sept. 23-24)

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass
The name doesn’t lie: Robert Plant, Bright Eyes, Emmylou Harris, and Merle Haggard will take over San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park for three days of free sets. (Sept. 30-Oct. 2)

Orlando Calling
Artists including the Killers, Kid Rock, Blake Shelton, and the Pixies arrive to blow Florida’s hair back. (Nov. 12-13)
