The Oscars. The Emmys. And…the Marine Corps ball? Thanks to a recent slate of celebrity invitees, the annual event honoring the Marine Corps’ birthday has become one of Hollywood’s hottest tickets. First it was Mila Kunis, then it was Justin Timberlake, and on July 16, Betty White, 89, became the third boldfaced name to receive a YouTube invite. Unfortunately, White had to decline Sgt. Ray Lewis’ (very public) request due to her Hot in Cleveland schedule, but during a July 18 appearance on the Today show, Kunis, 27, and Timberlake, 30, confirmed they would be attending two separate festivities taking place in November. ”Apparently there are multiple balls,” said Timberlake. ”We want to pay honor to our country and embrace their balls.” Well said.
